The exam date is not your certificate date
If you need a document by a particular day, work backwards from having it in your hands — not from sitting the exam.

Separate the milestones
- Registration: an advertised session is not a confirmed place.
- Exam: the day you take the assessment.
- Results: when you learn the outcome.
- Issue or dispatch: when the document is produced or sent.
- Receipt: when you can actually collect or receive it.
Use the session’s own dates
Check the current CAPLE calendar and the chosen exam centre. CAPLE’s FAQ describes collection at the exam centre after results; it is not a promise of delivery to your address. A session-specific calendar may give separate published milestones.
If two sources disagree, keep the receipt date unknown and ask the exam centre to clarify. Do not silently choose the earlier date.
Leave room for the unknowns
Ask about collection arrangements, any alternative proof, applicable charges and whether the receiving authority accepts that proof. Do not assume an expedited service exists or that an online result replaces the required document.
Include time to collect it and deal with a correction. A retake would need another available session; our planning estimate does not predict a pass.
What the calculator can tell you
It can compare your study effort with a published exam date and flag a shortfall. It cannot turn a published session into a seat or an estimated study completion into a guaranteed certificate date.
Travelling for one exam can make sense even when travelling weekly for a course would not.
Check the sources
Sources can change. This is planning information, not an acceptance or availability guarantee.
